I was wondering the same. It sounds like in the past every nursing student was awarded like a 20k scholarship or something? Either way I have been trying to figure out what the cost breakdown is just in general with no luck. Hard to believe it's not available yet because if someone was on the fence and it came down to cost they'd need access to that information to make a decision. They did email us last week about a financial aid info session being held tomorrow at 6pm that I signed up for. Maybe that will get some questions answered.

I was rejected from SFSU.

I only applied to SFSU and USF because I wanted to stay in the city. This is my first time applying to nursing school so I'm shocked about the outcome for sure. My undergrad GPA was low: 3.4 (degree in kinesiology) Prereq GPA: 4.0 (had to retake 3 classes because of expiration) Experience: Spent the last 4 years working in rehab at UCSF in the neuro ICU. Previously worked at Kaiser and a psych hospital in Stockton immediately post college in 2020. I think they value personal statement, short answer q's, and LORs heavily. My personal statement was unique in that I'm a hurricane Katrina survivor and both my recs came from UCSF. One of them was so descriptive/detailed and I think that might've been my golden ticket. Hope this is helpful esp for people that think they need a high overall GPA from undergrad! As far as paying for tuition, I'll probably be taking out private loans which sounds incredibly scary. I have a plan in place to try to tackle them though. If anyone starts a cohort 42 group lmk! Would love to get to know you all:)

Maybe! I hate that we're all having to hyper analyze every little thing to convince ourselves each day could be the day haha.

To me "early next week" insinuated Monday, but Tuesday at the latest. Wednesday seems more like midweek, but they did say that they "anticipate" to probably cover themselves if they continue on the trajectory of being behind. If we have to wait another day IDK what I'll do LOL.
