Depends on how it's being used. It will know when the device arrives with a set perimeter of the patient's home and when it leaves. It won't know where you are when you manually put that information in, however, it will be able to tell where the device is at any given point. So if you manually enter that you were at point A at a certain time, but the device shows you somewhere else, you could find yourself in trouble.
