Hey @Angelica12
Congrats again on your acceptance! I'm currently in the process of applying and just reviewed the requirements. I'm considering taking the prerequisites through Portage Learning, but I'm on a tight timeline and need to make a decision soon.
I also already have a bachelor's degree, so I'm trying to decide between going the LPN route or pursuing an ABSN. Right now, I'm leaning toward the ABSN since it seems like a better fit for balancing my full-time job. I'd really appreciate your perspective on that.
I also wanted to ask—when you took courses through Portage Learning, were the labs fully online, or did they send materials to your home?
You mentioned taking a holistic approach to the application, which really stood out to me. Do you have any recommendations on how to approach the personal statement or strengthen the application overall?
Also, are there any other schools similar to TESU's online format that you'd recommend as backup options?
I'm trying to narrow everything down within the next week. One thing that's making the decision harder is that the LPN program I was considering would be fully covered through 1199. Given that, I'd also love any advice on scholarships, financial aid (FAFSA), or whether you're paying out of pocket.
Thanks so much in advance for your help—I really appreciate any insight you can share!
