  1. DFW, Texas Nurse Refresher Clinical

    Hi! I'm working on my nurse refresher course. I was told they would help place me in clinicals in Fort Worth, Texas but now they are saying the best they can do is Houston which is 4 hours away. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to secure clinicals to finish my course? I need 80 hours (7-12 hour shifts) adult hospital care- I'll take anywhere closer to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Anyone done this recently? Or, someone that is a current preceptor that would be willing to take me on. I'm a hard worker and really want to learn the skills necessary to become a great nurse. I've heard this is hard to accomplish because everyone has a specific process. Any tips or help?!? Thanks in advance ?
