  1. To C-Collar or Not to C-Collar

    I was working in Triage one night and a 56 yo female walked in by herself c/o being the restrained driver of a stopped vehicle that was rear ended at a low rate of speed. No airbag deployment or LOC. Also c/o left hand pain and right foot pain. No obvious injuries or deformities to L hand or right foot. Good ROM to neck, L hand and right foot. VSS. No mid line neck tenderness. Tenderness to left side of neck when palpated. Pt reported EMS was at the scene. Do you place a C-collar or no?
