Hello, I'm a senior in high school and I'm looking to become a labor and delivery nurse. I have the option of going to Galen college which is owned by HCA (I've heard mixed reviews). The program is around $45-50k for their 3 year BSN program. As a nurse who has already graduated and works in their desired field. Is the tuition worth it? I'm young with no children, therefore, I want to go straight for my bachelor's degree and not waste time getting my LPN or ADN (no offense to anyone with those degrees). I just want to get my bachelor's out of the way while I have the free time to. I would be attending the Houston, TX location. If any has graduated from Galen, please let me know how you liked the program, etc.

Hello Everyone, I'm currently a senior in high school and I'm looking to enroll into a community college program to get my Associates of Applied Science degree to become a nurse, then get my job to pay for me to go back to school so I can minimize my debt. The problem is that I want to move out into my own apartment. The 1 bedroom apartments in my area are around $700-$800 a month. My question to anyone reading (who has finished nursing school), would it be wise for me to move out? My living situation at home is in the middle, if I'm being honest staying home is my last option. I want to finally have my own space and be able to make my own decisions. Please let me know your personal opinions from the stance of someone who has already graduated and/or experiences nursing school.
