I always told myself I would come back here and update for the current round of applicants and anyone searching through these threads in the future. I interviewed last week for the second round of applications.
Interview: 4 faculty panel interview. Met with 3 students beforehand who answered questions. Other applicants arrived pretty close after I did so we got to chat for a little bit as well. I was pretty nervous, but out of 3 interviews, it was probably the most relaxing interview I've had thus far. It was a mix of EI and clinical questions, but the clinical questions were in no way rapid-fire. They pertained to your general population, medications, and therapies. Now I understand when people say it felt more like a conversation. It was also nice that the lights were dimmed. Of course, I gave myself a hard time afterwards rethinking all of my answers. Faculty were SO incredibly nice and they seem to have great relationships with their students.
Although they said they would do decisions two weeks after the last round of interviews, I received a call for acceptance this morning at 7:30 am my time! God is good, all the time! Good luck everyone!
