  1. The general advice for nursing school in the United States is to go for whichever is cheapest, which makes sense in most cases, but from what I've heard Long Island is a very competitive region for nursing, especially the closer you get to the city. So I would like to go for a school that is known and looks especially good to employers. For nursing schools specifically, what would you say the top picks are? Googling, I see names like Stony Brook, Molloy, and Adelphi. Molloy and Adelphi I can do, but not Stony Brook, as the application deadline has passed. Is Hofstra a good pick too? For me, Suffolk would be the cheapest and most convenient, I'd just need to transfer for my BSN, but I don't really know if it'd look as good on a resume as the other schools.
