  1. I also got my acceptance letter as well! But I have decided to choose Grossmont.
  2. I don't think we are supposed to wait, we can go ahead and make the appointment with the counselor once confirming with admissions your official transcripts are on file. I'm not sure what that appointment is for but I'm assuming maybe to check you meet all requirements and are good to go? If someone knows please enlighten me.
  3. I was accepted from the alternate list today. Check your emails.
  4. I second this, don't use nurse Chueng. No hate but her voice alone is was too much for me. Regardless I gave her a try with some videos and she does not go in depth, no real substance.
  5. I used mometrix, but for science I mostly used YouTube. The tutor geek is very good at explaining. TEAS science with Tyler Dewitt helped me a lot too, he has shorts with questions and answers. I got a 92. I hope it helps.
  6. I am on the alternate list here but got accepted at Grossmont because southwestern does not take your best TEAS score, only the first if it was more than 62. That was my case, I had 80.7 on the first attempt and 92 on the second. My first choice was Grossmont anyways so I emailed southwestern to let them know I am getting off the alternate list.
  7. I applied to Palomar, haven't heard anything yet from them. They usually take longer than Grossmont to send out emails. I applied last semester and I got my rejection email on October 17th.
  8. I received it around 4 pm.
  9. I still can't believe it, I got in!! Congratulations to everyone and we will be seeing each other soon!.
  10. I asked southwestern how many points was I awarded (I had counted 93) and they told me I had 86. I asked why if I had estimated a different number. Dumb me didn't know they only take your first TEAS attempt if you passed. I had 81 on my first try and retook it to improve my score and got 92. They took my 81 so that brought me down 7 points. If you're like me and this is news to you and you thought you were going to get in now you know why you're on the alternate list.
  11. It was the same test. During my first test I felt it was difficult but never in a million years did I think I was going to get the same so I didn't really study for that test.. I barely remembered what was on it.
  12. According to my count it would've been 93 points, I was almost sure I would be offered a seat but not sure now.
  13. I also got in on the alternate list... does anyone know how likely is to get in from the alternate list?
  14. Commenting to stay in the conversation. Good luck everyone!
  15. I also applied for the fall 2026 cohort. It would be my second time applying. Last time according to my count I had 84 points. This time I added 10 extra points, 5 from gaining my associates degree and another 5 for bumping up my TEAS score from 80.7 to 92. If they take everything I would have 94 points. I am still feeling anxious because of my past rejection. I don't know what else I could do if I don't get in this time.
