  1. Thank you. I am going to email them, I can only assume more than 10 LVN's applied and my points were not high enough. My lowest points was my TEAS. I got an 81% so my points maxed out around 87 or 88 and I choose not to take it again. My science was a 4.0 and my prerequisite GPA was a 3.67 or so. Now I have to take the TEAS again. im going to suggest to them that they consider a lottery. There is so much anxiety about points and getting the highest etc. everyone should have a shot if you meet the requirements. good luck to you!
  2. @Jess Cooper I did not get in ? I hope you do.
  3. LVN applicant here. I have not heard anything.
  4. Yea I just saw. No not yet. They must be saving LVN's for last. But yea I'm dying over here. Very emotional. Yea I just saw. No not yet. They must be saving LVN's for last. But yea I'm dying over here. Very emotional. The good thing is we have not gotten rejections up to this point so there is still hope.
  5. I damn near had a heart attack. An email just flashed across my screen saying Grossmont. When I checked my email it said it was an update to scheduling counseling services. I almost threw my phone!! ??
  6. Not yet. I guess they are gonna tourture the lVN's longer.
  7. I really hope the Subject Line of the email doesn't give it away, I need to hover over my email with my finger for a few seconds or minutes before I open it and learn my fate!
  8. ??‍♀️ I'm checking but also scared. Nervous. Anxious. I'm just ready to know. I can't believe they sent out letters on the exact same day as last year LOL.
  9. I had knots all day yesterday and now when I see an alert that folks posted here I'm getting knots LOL. I agree. Put us out of our misery one way or another!
  10. @Emiloca congratulations! Did your email come just now or earlier?
  11. @Jess Cooper Who knows how many LVN's are actually in that forum to respond.
  12. @Jess Cooper I know right! I pray we both get in. The waiting is so hard. There is so much mis-information regarding LVN students or lack of info.
  13. Well the good thing is that the first letters have gone out so we will all know real soon!
  14. Congratulations!! My stomach is in knots for my own letter.
  15. Not yet but the Fall 2026 forum someone posted today they got an acceptance letter. Should be any day! I'm so nervous.
  16. It is quite possible we could hear something this week!! Fingers crossed. Good luck to you all!!
  17. I think it's like going through job applicants. They may have run across apps that didn't meet the requirements or the points were way too low to have a chance. They are going to have 2 seperate pools: lvn step up and the 2 year generic apps.
  18. I'm ready for my acceptance letter though. Speak it into existence y'all! The waiting is the worst..
  19. Seems like a pretty early response from the nursing department. I was under assumption they sent all letters out around the same time. But no I have not heard anything yet. I'll start really checking come the 10th of the month.
  20. This is pretty much my last hail Mary to get in because after July my anatomy prequisite is past recency ?. Is it just one science class that will be past recency? Hopefully you get in this time but I heard it out the lady's mouth at there info session that if it was only one they would still accept. It just couldn't be all.
  21. Does anyone know when we should start stalking our emails for our acceptance letters?
  22. These programs should be a lottery. Period. Meet the threshold, get your name in the pot. If you don't get picked then you can apply the next cycle and get your name in twice to improve your chances. This stressing yourself out to get super high GPA's and TEAS scores is mentally exhausting. and they just stop listing you need at least a 2.5 GPA in your sciences when that number wouldn't even get you enough points to be competitive. Make the threshold 3.0 across the board. I think I'm gonna write the State Board a letter' LOL
  23. Anyone know how many LVN's they take? I know they expanded their program to include more LVN's. I'm excited but anxious.
