Ontario NP - 2026 Applicants
Thanks this helps! I'll connect with you if I end up accepting. You said you did your MScN there - did you like the school/profs? The administrative side, just seems so scattered and inefficient and uncommunicative. It's making me nervous...

Thanks! I'm doing it full time. The program director said full-time would be 1 day on campus for class, 2 days clinical placement, and 1 day of a synchronous 3 hour online class. I am trying to figure out what DAY of the week the in person class falls under. Do you happen to know? Also do you know what day the June orientation is? Did you already get information about this? I didn't. Also, do you know how much the total tution is? It's not listed on their website.

Hey I just checked MyFile at York University for the Post-Master's NP and it says admitted. Does anyone have info on this program? Everytime I asked, I was given run around answers by the admin assistant. I'm trying to understand if it is 2 days on campus and 3 days in placement?

I'm in the same boat as you - All I've heard from York is crickets. I accepted UofT as I'm not too optimistic and have really despised the whole process of applying to York

I've had decision pending since I submitted in late January LOL

LOL. Mine never said "official employment letter" or Hours Verification. York is THE WORST. Now I'm thinking they probably lost that or something because they got my last name wrong during the application process.

It's still pretty early.... But my status still says Decision Pending

I feel for you all. I only applied to York Post Master's as they were accepting non-nursing Masters but seems quite competitive due to small number of spots available. I got into MN-NP at UofT so will likely have to do another Master's unless I hear from York.

You can look back in the earlier posts to see people's stats. I got into MN-NP. I have roughly 2 years inpatient oncology, 1 year outpatient oncology, 1 year care coordination, 1 year transitional care. I have a previous MPH (non-nursing). GPA in accelerated BScN was roughly high B+/low A-.

I applied before Jan 15th deadline. I don't think it means you're likely to not get in...there's going to be rounds and rounds of admission offers as people decline their offer. Chin up ?

Just curious what you changed about your application this year? For those that got in at UofT and saw through Acorn - does your acceptance say "e-NP"? I applied to the eastern GTA stream as my first preference and was wondering if that's what the "e-NP" meant.

It looks like from your post history you applied previously and did not get in? Did you do anything to upgrade your application for this year?

Maybe, like, a week before the Feb 1st deadline. I know that it didn't say "received" on my references until the 2nd week of Feb but they said there was a grace period since their system was so backed up.
