The fact you got an interview is great! Remember, they had 214 applicants which is their highest ever. There is a chance you'll get off the waitlist because not everyone will accept. My GPA was 3.68, honors college, tons of different speciality ICU experience, as well as ER and PCU, and I was waitlisted last year. But looking back I didn't interview well. I spent the year working more, shadowed again, took the recommended course Mike said to take, got better letters of recommendation and interview prepped WAY better than I did the previous year. They like to see when people reapply because it shows this is what you really want. I would practice your EI questions over and over, and shadow more. If you got an interview this year, chances are you'll get one next year and they'll want to know what you've done to improve, to make yourself standout and are a serious student. Hope that helps!

They call 60 people for interviews and who knows how many applicants they had this year to sift through. Last year they had upward of 200 which was their most ever, and I'm assuming this year is no different. I would guess that they make so many phone calls a day because Mike also teaches lectures, and some people may or may not take the interview, so then they'll have to pick someone new to offer it to. I wouldn't lose hope just yet! Also yes, the weather here in Pittsburgh was awful this week, and Latrobe where the hospital is located I imagine was snowed in, so that could also contribute to delays
