  1. Trying to see how other companies do their pto requests, if this is the norm as I have never had any issues with any company prior. Do your companies make you have the amount of pto needed in your bank at time of request for requests months out knowing you'll accrual more than enough time? Company will keep the requested days pending until you rack up the pto but if anyone requests the same days you requested off first at the time they submit it, and have that time, they will get the priority, even though you did request the time off first. Seems as it caters to those who do not use their pto or accrue more due to longer years at the company. Who's to say someone who has the time right now, won't months down the line.
