Oh so the SMU ABSN program does not provide us opportunities to do clinical rotations in healthcare settings such as hospitals or clinics, where students are able to gain supervised, hands-on experience by working alongside licensed nurses? I am particularly interested in understanding how these clinical experiences support students' learning and professional development, as well as their transition into nursing practice after graduation. Also, I don't have any previous experience in nursing, and my first bachelor degree is not nursing as well. Do I have to finish some prerequisites before I applied to the ABSN program? Hi all, I'm in the process of applying for the Summer 2026 ABSN program of Samuel Merritt University. Is anyone in the same timeline? Also, could anyone please share whether the program offers any internship opportunities? I would like to accumulate some work experience while studying the program, so it could be easier to find a job after graduation? Thank you!
