Hi! It seems like a 4 month wait to hear back. Another student was awaiting department review since Oct and got accepted in Feb. I was awaiting department review since Nov and got accepted last week. I forgot to include that we applied for Summer 2026!

I got my acceptance email today!

Hi! I applied for the Summer start for May 2026. I submitted the app 11/11/25. It has been "Awaiting Department Review" as of 12/15/25. In January I was told I'd likely hear about my admission status in March.

Hi! I wanted to make a thread to see if anyone else has applied for the fall 2026 FNP program at Cizik School of Nursing at UTHealth Houston? Everything required for the app including reference forms was submitted last Fri 1/23/26. Curious to see what the timeline is for students to hear back for interviews and acceptance. Does anyone know how many students they take?

Hello! I have. I was told by the enrollment adviser I'd likely hear back in mid to late January. They were behind on reviewing transcripts. My application portal finally updated on 12/15/25 to "Awaiting Department Review".
