The Johns Hopkins University Direct Entry MSN - Fall 2026
No! Don't think like that! I'm sure you have a much better chance than me. For reference, I haven't completed a single prerequisite, made some errors on my application (uploaded outdated supporting documentation), and have no healthcare experience. I also realized after the financial aid webinar that I wouldn't be able to afford the tuition (even with a significant scholarship), since I already utilized a portion of my grad school loans at another institution. I wouldn't have had enough federal loans to even cover half of the $160-170k COA, and I haven't see any merit or need-based scholarships that cover $100k+ of the costs.

It will be the entire year (no summers off). If you are starting in the fall, the four semesters are: Fall 2026, Spring 2027, Summer 2027, Fall 2027. I also was informed that the 7 required courses for the Fall 2026 semester are not half semester courses; they are full semester courses. I guess that's why they recommend that students don't work during the program.

JHUSON Admissions responded to my decision timeframe question with: I'm guessing priority applicants will probably start noticing decisions coming in next week or the week after. Admissions also stated that they will continue accepting applications until March 15th, but it won't affect the decision timeline for those that met the January 15th deadline.
