  1. Thank you ? I just wrote the letter as I would a formal letter to the nursing admissions and the dean of nursing. I spoke about my passion for being a nurse and my background of currently being in the healthcare field. I also spoke about my support from my employer and family, and how that would aid in success within the program. Lastly, I just spoke about my long term goals and the impact I hope to have within the nursing profession. I never received an email in response to the appeal, just the phone call from one of the nursing faculty.
  2. Hello, I have been following the group but have not commented. I received a director's denial and about 5 days letter I received a letter explaining that I met the requirements, but due to a large number of applicants I was not selected. I was told that I could write an appeal letter by 12/29 and if seats became available they would reach out to me. I wrote my letter on 12/25 and yesterday I received a call that there was an open seat available for me and if I wanted to accept it. Friday is make up orientation. She did mention I was the last person she was reaching out to. Hope this helps!
