Hi, I yet to hear an internal got a response. The people who have said they got an offer are all externals. I read on Reddit that Irvine and Riverside sent offers to externals. As an internal it's quiet about a cohort even happening with the whole strike and no contract. If the preceptors are striking who will precept?

As soon as I know anything I will post. I hope UNAC and Kaiser can agree to something soon. In the meantime keep applying to other new grads. My friends got into other hospitals. It's hard out there and it can be discouraging trust me. 19 years at Kaiser and I feel defeated myself.

I'm internal and all I know Is that everything is on hold because of the strike. They don't have preceptors while they're on strike. Even HR is on hold to give out information because there's no contract. You would be seeing letters of acceptance rolling around, but it's crickets!

Not the recruiters; management is busy with the strike and the travel and temp hires, so I am hearing that is why there's a delay. A union rep said by first week of Feb. But who knows ?

Any internal candidate who is interested in WLA they have a position for a STAFF RN I entry-level position. It's not part of the new grad program; however, it states that you need to go through training. It's full-time.

I am a 19 year KP employee. Regular positions are based on seniority. However this is not considered one of those regular positions.

Honestly I believe it's a point system. They have filters that the use specifically for keywords to narrow down the candidates. Based on qualifications and points they narrow down who they will select for the next step. Then the list goes to the hiring managers. Is it disappointing? Of course. But its not only Kaiser it's everywhere now ?

I'm sorry to hear that. But on the snapshot they specifically ask if you already have it. Not if you plan on getting it. So, answering yes technically means you lied. The right answer would have been no since ACLS is not a requirement.
