  1. Is this for california hospital? maybe a week from receiving my offer letter they called me to schedule physical and drug screen.
  2. Yes, I have accepted an offer completed a drug screen and a physical. Just waiting for my physical to clear. As far as updates I did reach out to make sure I am on track and my onboarding advisor said everything looks good (prior to the physical, just waiting on that).
  3. I interviewed Tuesday and received an email that they will be moving forward with my application Thursday night. and yesterday I received my official offer letter
  4. They haven't given out details about orientation but I did remember briefly the educator saying in my interview that we have 16 weeks of orientation.
  5. Anyone who just accepted a position at California Hospital Medical Center for Med surg and wants to connect, please private message me your email so we can talk before starting next month ?
  6. Has anyone from hospitals other than CA hospital already started their onboarding process and how is it? how long does it take to receive an official offer letter? I assume we have to pass a drug test background check and a physical but anything else besides that?
  7. this means you're accepted?
  8. did they say how many they're looking to hire? also were there any case study questions? I also have an interview for the tele unit but for a different hospital
  9. for anyone who has interviewed and gotten an offer, how long did it take? was it by email or phone call? was pay negotiable?
  10. yes it says california hospital but this is what it says after: PROCESS Interviews will be conducted IN PERSON at St. Mary Hospital however on the invite it says the correct hospital address. I was just wondering if anyone has also notice this and reached out before I do on my own tomorrow. (I waited till after the holidays so my email doesn't get lost in the mountain of emails they probably already receive)
  11. Yes, I got the questionnaire right after applications closed. And I got the invite a few weeks ago. For the unit I applied to, all the interview slots have been filled.
  12. I got invited to interview for California hospital in feb. On the email it says interviews will be held in person at St. Marys hospital in long beach however the address on the Google invite specifies California Hospital. Has anyone else noticed this and reached out?
  13. interviewing for california hospital and I was wondering if anyone can give insight on interviews, onboarding, how long it took to get an offer, and your experience as a new grad
  14. I accidentally didn't select anything for the drop down location for some of the hospitals. I didn't realize until like my 3rd application. hopefully it's still valid for all considering the application was hospital specific
  15. just found this: Cohort Start Date: March 17, 2026 Interview Dates: January 20 & 21, 2026
  16. does anyone know when they host interviews?
  17. I haven't but I know someone who did
  18. do you know if this was this for one unit specifically or the entire hospital?
  19. I do know someone who got an invite for an interview but just 1 person
  20. no rejection letter yet but neuro/stroke and general surgery were the units I've applied to
  21. I know of people getting rejection letters and interview invitations Can anyone who got an invite quote this with which unit invited you
  22. I'm so sorry to hear that. I have read in past threads that if you don't meet their requirements (RN license, 3.0 GPA, active BLS/ACLS certifications and the required documents: cover letter/personal statement, 2 letters of recommendation and your transcripts with clear date of completion) you get a rejection letter. Did you meet all requirements? It could be as simple as forgetting to submit one document that cause the immediate letter of rejection. Their next cohort opens in March so hopefully you score an interview for that one:)
  23. You do have to have an active RN license. I have read from past cohorts found on this website if you do not meet the minimum requirements you will automatically get a rejection letter.
