Wow, 4.0 GPA overall is quite impressive!! I had about 70 to 75 points for my application, so you're not too far off and I believe you have a really good chance of either being fully accepted or at least an alternate student! I know most people would like to start right away, but at least as an alternate student you are guaranteed a spot for the following semester. Regardless, your stats are pretty good and you should be very proud of yourself! Yes, it was my first time applying. I applied to two schools and got rejected from another school and welp got accepted to Moorpark as an alternate. I did have to go through all the orientations and do all the paperwork as if I got fully accepted, which kind of sucked because I didn't get in for Spring and have to redo everything for Fall. But, the people I have met so far are all super nice and welcoming. They explained how their program is ran and honestly didn't seem as scary as I've read from posts on Reddit. Me personally, I have found all the paperwork and everything they require you to get done pretty easy to follow. I did reach out to them a few days ago and they mentioned that they will be making calls starting next week. Good luck!!

Goodluck everyone! I was an alternate for Spring 2026 but did not make it in, so I'll be attending this Fall

In orientation, they gave us module 1 and module 2 and basically advised us to get ahead and get started on the reading (which is a lotttt ?). Do you think it was helpful to start the reading and start learning the learning objective they gave us? It just sucks that as an alternate, I don't even know if I'll be starting this upcoming Spring yet, so I still haven't bought any books. Do they give out study guides? If so, are they helpful when taking the exam? Thank you for answering my questions!! Your responses are very helpful!

Any alternates receive an acceptance letter yet ?

From what I read on other posts from this website and Reddit they are usually able to get most if not all alternates into the program. BUT, at least if we don't get into this upcoming semester, we will have a seat for the fall semester.

I got accepted as an alternate. Hopefully I will be able to get in for Spring semester. Btw, do any of you personally know of anyone that has done the program? I've been seeing a lot of mixed reviews and tbh it's kind of scary ?
