  1. Just a call for an interview invite but declined as I have committed to another program close to home. I hope everyone get their call soon!
  2. No worries! I already accepted an offer from another program! Good luck, I hope you get in!!
  3. Got my rejection letter! Interviewed 1st week of January. Good luck to everyone! Cheers to the class of 2029!
  4. 3 weeks ago I think. I interviewed the 1st week and did not get any acceptance.
  5. Congrats to everyone who got in!! I did not get any email nor changes in my portal, so I assume it's a denial for me. Already committed to another program tho, so congratulations to everyone! ?????
  6. Thanks for the heads up! Not planning on sharing anything to anyone, it's a clear disadvantage to other candidates.
  7. Deadline was Dec 5, did you submit on or before? They kinda encouraged everyone to submit early. They already submitted denials 2 weeks ago.
  8. No. Interviews will start 1st week of January, after the holidays.
  9. It's mixed. Mostly online, and once per week in person. Then it transitions to full in person.
  10. That's what I thought too bc there's no way none of you guys did not get an invite. Also, check your spam/junk folder.
  11. I will!! And thank you. It just feels weird that there are no other people from this thread who got an invite. Maybe they're going based on how early you submitted? When did you guys submit? I submitted the week the apps opened (august?). Plus I've talked to some people who interviewed last year and said that they were expanding/merging with a program. The latest cohort have 46 or 47 students.
  12. Yes, that is correct. I used the same email back in my 2023 app and this current app, same preferred first name as well.
  13. I cannot tell for sure. Back in 2023, I got my denial letter weeks after the deadline has passed. I cannot, I'm sorry. But there are a lot of slots available as we speak
  14. 3.91 cumulative, 3.4 science, retook all sciences, charge, preceptor but not current, committee co-chair, undergrad and workplace research, MICU 3 years, current CVICU/open heart 5 years It's a self-schedule based interview. I have to check and I will get back to you
  15. I applied to a loooot of schools and did not expect to get more invites than I expected. Got accepted to a good program + close to home that I can stay in for the 1st year. There's not reason for me to go to these interviews knowing that I'm going to decline it in the first place, plus I want everyone to have a shot too. We will all get there! Good luck on everyone's interview! May you all crush it! ??
  16. Just declined my interview invite, hoping that it will open a spot for an applicant. Good luck to everyone!
  17. That's the thing, my school is in the city but at some point I need to move closer, so my cost of living is going to skyrocket at some point. Ugh.
  18. That's the thing. They know that we won't have any choice but to take out loans so now they will be more predatory in terms of interests, and that's how we're gonna get screwed. What an amazing timeline to be in.
  19. Besides personal savings, I might have to rely on private loans. That's the only option. And if grad nursing is no longer considered professional and caps us at $21k/year, there's no chance I could pay for it during school, so signing with an anesthesia group is also an option. This sucks but gotta do what we gotta do
