What was your background before switching careers and entering this program? I come from accounting / finance background and biggest concern for me will be the learning curve in how to study differently in nursing school, just given a different skillset needed and overall different subjects.

Hi! I applied to the Spring 2026 program and also non-accelerated. Still waiting to hear back. How many pre-reqs did you have left to complete when you applied / when you started at NYU?

That's frustrating, I wish they gave you longer because I am sure you are deciding among other schools. Did you end up deciding to accept NYU? Has anyone heard anything today? I feel like the decisions have been coming out weekly on Wednesdays it seems

Hey everyone, hope all are doing well. I just got contacted by an admissions director at NYU saying my application was accelerated (since she contacted me about missing pre reqs) even though I applied non-accelerated. Has this happened to anyone?

I feel like this means you may know an answer soon. When I looked back at old chat boards, people have sometimes said their checklists disappear before they hear a decision
