  1. I'm sorry but who told you that? Its wasc and brn accredited. You WILL be eligible to take the NCLEX to obtain your RN license. But its not ACNE or CCNE accredited. Please do your research on why those accreditations are important. I just want people to be aware of what they are dropping thousands of dollars on.
  2. Sorry I meant to say *ACEN. Since the program is approved by the board of nursing you would still be able to get your license but I know some employers like the VA only hire if you graduate from a program accredited by either ACEN or CCNE. Here is more info on why programmatic accreditation is important. Benefits for Students Licensure and Career Opportunities: Graduates of ACEN- or CCNE-accredited programs are often required for state licensure and many jobs, ensuring they meet the qualifications for practice. Transferability of Credits: Credits earned in an accredited program are more likely to transfer if a student moves to another accredited school, supporting academic progression. Federal Financial Aid: Accreditation is often a prerequisite for students to access federal and state financial aid resources, making nursing education more accessible. Quality Education: Accreditation assures students that their nursing program meets established standards, leading to high-quality education, relevant skills, and preparedness for the profession. Access to Further Education: Graduating from an accredited program opens doors to future educational pursuits, such as master's or doctoral degrees in nursing.
  3. Just so you are all aware, this school isn't accredited by CCNE or ACNE.... I was accepted but will be starting in Jan for ELMN. However it being new, it's not accredited yet it's only approved by BON. I overlooked that somehow and now I'm not sure if I will be attending.
