    Hello I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their nursing career and specialty. I am currently working on a medsurg unit in a hospital. I recently made a year and I really want to change my specialty. Med surg has taught me a lot but I want a different type of interaction with my patients. So I have been thinking heavily about getting into psych. I specifically wanted to know if anyone worked for the NYS office of mental health. 1.) please tell me about your experience 2.) what does a typical work day look like? 3.) tell me about your ratio (nurse to patient ratio) 4.) the pay/ overtime and health benefits 5.) what are the different type of psych departments and locations with OMH Thank you
