couplet care, NICU, and surgical/trauma were the units I interviewed for. I have an interview lined up for a post-acute care facility soon. for the upcoming new grad programs, I'll apply to the med surg / tele units and hopefully have better luck with those units. how has the job hunt been for you so far?

I have also had a hard time getting into a new grad program- graduated in December 2024 and got my license in February 2025. If I had known that getting a job as a new grad would have been this tough, I would have applied to be a CNA or extern while attending nursing school. I was under the impression that as long as I had a BSN it would've been easy... perhaps I haven't done well enough in the interviews I did get but still.

hi I got a rejection email on the 30th but my status on their website still says 'under consideration'. should I still hold out some hope that they might contact me for a position?
