I ended up choosing COC and I was alternate number 14. For me, I accepted both at the time and withdrew my acceptance from the other program when I found out I got accepted at COC.

Hey, I just wanted to come on here and let anyone who has gotten accepted to La Pierce that I am selling a nursing kit for Pierce's program. It's a brand new kit and I havent used it at all. I actually got accepted into Pierces program for the fall 2025 and I was going to attend but I later on found out I got accepted into COC's program and the company I bought the kit from did not allow refunds. Please let me know if you guys are interested. I will be selling the kit for a cheaper price.

I got accepted into both nursing programs College of the Canyons and La Pierce community colleges but I don't know which one to pick!! I originally got accepted into Pierce's program but then I got a call back that a spot opened up for me at College of the Canyons. Both colleges were my top choices so please help! I heard La pierce has a bad reputation where they "weed out" students and fail most of the first semester students which is one of my concerns. I don't know if its true but I have seen many reviews from former students saying that. I do like the class schedule that Pierce has and all of their clinicals are near my house which is important to me. On the other hand, I have a friend attending College of the Canyons Nursing program and she says its one of the best nursing programs in socal and that the professors care about the students and make sure you succeed. I've also done my pre-recs here and I loved the professors that I had. College of the Canyons is closer to my house but they did place me in a clinical that is 45-50 mins away from my house for the semester but its only for 2 months. I'm unsure whether I should stick with Pierce since I've already begun some of the enrollment process, or if I should go with COC, where it might be a better school
