    Hi. I'm a senior nursing student currently in my last semester, completing my preceptorship in a pediatric unit. My school recommends taking part in a PALS program. The university where I am doing my preceptorship offers different prices for a PALS class depending whether or not contact hours are needed. I tried contacing their nursing education department, but they are closed for the weekend. Can someone please explain to me what are contact hours? Can I receive contact hours now although I am not yet an RN? Thank you!!!
