  1. To be very honest, if they want you they send out acceptances pretty soon, to basically agree with what you said about them historically sending out acceptances soon after the interview, so if you interviewed over 2 weeks ago and haven't heard anything I'd for sure start applying other places. I interviewed during the first interview and haven't heard anything also. I also wish they'd be upfront and just sent out the rejections/waitlist instead of just waiting till the end. Stay hopeful and apply other places. You just need one yes!
  2. Congratulations! I wonder how long it's going to take them to send denials then cause I interviewed that same day. Hopefully they don't take forever to send the decision out cause waiting on false hope sucks
  3. I got like 4 questions wrong. At this point I'm anticipating a rejection or best case scenario being waitlisted. Hearing from the students that they got some questions wrong and still got accepted gives me a little bit of hope but not much. I think they look at their applicants holistically though, and take into account GPA
  4. I also noticed that you posted in the UAB chat! Are you open to giving any pointers for their interview? My interview is this week and I am very nervous. Is it true that it's mostly EI?
  5. How do you know if it's in person or not? Mine is the 31st but the information session has a zoom link. Does that mean the interview is also on zoom?
  6. I have also been constantly checking my email but I haven't seen anything yet either. The wait is the worst.
  7. Did everyone receive this Open house invite? I'm assuming that's just a regular invite sent to everyone, regardless on if you've applied or not?
  8. Hi! I am applying for the May 2026 cohort, and received an interview so I am so super excited! Does anyone have any tips or advice for the interview? Is it half EI and half clinical or mainly EI? I'm hearing mixed information about the style. Also if it is mainly clinical are you tested mainly on your ICU information, as in interview questions stem from your resume or is it broad ICU questions? I've attended an interview that asked nothing about my ICU but asked random questions about EKG's and neuro questions but I'm in the MICU? I just want to tailor my studying correctly for this interview, thanks!!
  9. I thought we would've heard something by now, that's disappointing. Has anyone heard anything yet?
