Hello, I checked for placement of the NG tube. What is the resistance felt when aspirating gastric contents? At first, I wasn't getting anything back, so I pushed air in, then out, and still nothing. Then I tried again, and finally, a small amount came up. I would say I was firm but not fast and didn't apply a lot of force, so I'm second-guessing if I did something wrong. I was supervised by a nurse, but all she gave as feedback was to stop when I got air I pushed in back, so now I'm thinking I did too much and did it completely wrong?
