  1. I also submitted a couple letters of recommendation, any certificates/licenses (BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, medical assistant or CNA, fetal heart monitoring, etc., anything that helps you stand out), transcripts, diploma. For the cover letter, you want it to be genuine and personal. You don't need to repeat what's on your resume, they don't want to read that twice. You could talk about an experience you had that reinforced your "why nursing" while tying in some of the values that Kaiser has and telling them why you would be the best candidate to help them maintain those values.
  2. interview questions and style may vary depending on the unit & location! For instance, I read that some locations had group interviews that lasted most of the day, where as my interview was panel style with the unit manager, clinical nurse educator, a preceptor, and then myself. I was asked about 8 or 9 questions like: why kaiser, why this unit, some of the "tell me about a time when..." questions, and then a couple clinical questions (not sure if every unit does this, but my interview was for l&d. maybe they only asked questions like this because it's a specialty unit?) the pay for kaiser sdmc is $58.02 and then nights have a $4.50 differential. this value may also depend on location! this is super helpful information! thank you ?
  3. I was just told to send the filled out union card to the email it has listed! Kind of misleading by having e-fax in there but just send it to the email that is provided!!
  4. wait what QR code? I only see a few attachments in the email.
  5. Yes, my NUID is the same format. I printed the form out and was then going to make it a pdf to send back, because I usually have issues filling out forms on my computer for whatever reason. Is there a place to fill it out online instead?
  6. to send the union card in, it says to efax it to the email provided. Did you just email it to the address or how did you efax it? I'm a bit confused.
  7. it says to bring the completed form for orientation, so I would say yes. But also not sure if someone there would sign off?
  8. That's what I did, and I sent my email to the manager and cc'd brandy two weeks ago but haven't gotten a response back
  9. hmm I'm not to sure about that then. I know brandy had mentioned that sometimes they don't send info out until the week before but I wish we had more info sooner ?
  10. had my health screening on 6/27 and received the orientation email on 7/1, so maybe they're waiting until you're fully cleared to send that out?
  11. I'm starting on that date, not medsurg but the same facility. Did you receive the email about the new employee orientation?
  12. kaiser sdmc l&d is $58.02 with a $4.50 night differential, but not sure if it's the same base pay for all units!
  13. I got an email from bxxxxx herself
  14. They emailed asking to set up a teams call where they offered me the position
