  1. Don't get discouraged! The cutoff for Spring tends to be lower than for Fall. I've heard that when they're deciding between two applicants with the same amount of points, they go off your GPA. Hope that helps a little!
  2. Hi! I got in with 11 points, but some people got in with 10. I don't really know what the cutoff was... I would assume 10 points! And I got the email about my name being submitted to BON after a couple of days, but the email to make an appointment was weeks later. It will come, don't worry! Lots of people didn't get their emails until later on.
  3. Congrats to you too! See you in August ?
  4. I just got accepted! Yay! Check your emails!
  5. Woohoo! Accepted! Everyone check your email!
  6. OMG that's a good point! Thank you! Do you know how long it takes after fingerprinting to get the blue card? Indentogo says it takes up to 7 days for BON to receive the results, but it's been like 2 weeks and I haven't gotten anything in the mail.
  7. Still waiting patiently over here! 11 points as well. Have you gotten your fingerprints done yet? I'm scrolling through every discussion, trying to figure out more information about our chances and what the process is like. Ugh. I really hope the mid-June acceptance date was an overcompensation.
  8. For me, it was: Application submitted: 4/25 Email from Temple College saying that my name was on the roster for the background check: 5/2 Email from IdentoGO saying I can schedule my fingerprint appointment: 5/12
  9. Oh that's good news! I wonder why things are moving so slowly this year. Last year, the deadline was May 30th and decisions were made mid-June. We applied a month earlier and still have to wait until mid-June as well?
  10. Oh, I would definitely email them. I'm sure things are just delayed but it would be nice to get peace of mind.
  11. Ugh, frustrating. But it's not like you did anything wrong, so try not to worry too much! It'll get sorted out
  12. Yup! Advising gave me bad info, the nursing department said that I qualify for the point. Thank you for the info! I guess we're both at 11 points then! I did some math and our chances are very, very good. Woohoo!
  13. OMG thank you so much! I actually emailed advising and they said you have to live in Temple, plus you have to have lived there for at least 6 months. I might have to fight them a little bit on this, yikes! I did receive the email and I got my fingerprints done. Has it been 15 business days since the initial email yet? If it has, you should definitely contact the office! I'm sure it will be fine though. If you don't get the email within that timeframe, they'll help you figure it out.
  14. Does anyone know about the service area requirements? I had trouble finding this information. Is it just Temple or do surrounding areas count, like Belton? And is there a minimum amount of time needed to be a resident? I'm nervous not knowing if I'm at 10 or 11 points LOL!
