Hey y'all I just got off the phone with them and they said they are still choosing students and sending acceptances. They said to keep a lookout of a email/call from them around mid July or even earlier.

Same here. Also, I think this week is it and then after they're done with acceptance calls, they will start emailing students about how they weren't chosen in the lottery.

is this your first time applying to LAVC or is this your second round btw?

I think this means you got in if they call you to send in your TEAS. Congratulations!!

@LNZ I have not sent in my TEAS score yet. On the LAVC nursing application, it just asked if I took the TEAS and if I passed, to both of which I answered yes. After reading some forums about the LAVC nursing program here, LAVC will contact you via phone to ask you to send in your TEAS score. Also, just a FYI (you probably already know this and it might be of some help), the dean said that the prospective nursing students must meet the chancellor's cut score (80 & above) and pass the TEAS with a minimum of 62%. If you meet these requirements, then your name will be put in the lottery. @Ojitoscoffee Haha yes I figured this was an LACC acceptance as you were responding to someone who also got accepted to LACC. and its okay no need to apologize! Congratulations for your acceptance, future nurse!!

WAIT... guys, I called the dean yesterday, and they said that the lottery for LAVC nursing student applicants will commence on June 15th. So, how are people getting their acceptance letters this early and before the lottery day?

Hi! Does anyone know when we will receive acceptance letters/decision letters from LAVC? The deadline is April 30th, so I want to guess it takes a month or so? Does anyone have an estimated time frame...
