  1. Hi guys, I am almost finished with my ADN and I got accepted to RN-BSN program in Long Beach and Fullerton (Cal State). Yesterday, I made some comparisons and I still don't know which one to choose. Almost everyone that I asked just said "school name doesn't matter". Well okay, that doesn't really help. So, maybe those of you who have gone to either college can share your experience, like how the program is, how hard to get an A or a B, how the workload for working nurses are, how the teachers are, etc. I plan to work after I graduate, either part time or full time, or maybe per diem. So far, I love studying and I don't want to "just graduate" or "just get the degree". I actually want to learn something. But also, I don't want to get burnt-out (again). And I heard that both colleges are known for their quality of their nursing program. I live close to Pomona so Fullerton is closer. But both are online with clinical placement on the last semester. Fullerton requires me to come in person for their assessment lab (I believe they have a once-a-month meeting schedule, which is not bad). While LB is all online, I believe (cmiiw). It looks like Fullerton is cheaper than LB, but I don't mind to pay more if I get a better quality of education. Another thing is, I might want to continue to a graduate school, hopefully in the near future. My options are either midwifery school or medical school. I might change my mind though. I am aware that Fullerton has a midwifery program, so it makes more sense to choose Fullerton now. Again, I might change my mind later on about becoming a CNM. But which college will prepare me better for a graduate school or a medical school? Which one is more well-known or more prestigious? Which one is more helpful to the students? Which one has a more sensible workload? I can go on and ask thousands of questions. So, any suggestions will be appreciated. And I apologize English is not my native language. Thank you so much!
