  1. Hi, congrats on your acceptance as well! ? Yes, I've already completed my first bachelor's degree, but I'm missing two prerequisite courses. NYU should email you a tentative transfer credit evaluation in the next week or two. It'll list which of your previous courses they're giving credit for, and which ones you still need to take. This will help you to know what classes to register for in June 2025. After I received that tentative evaluation, I got a final credit summary today (separate email). It confirmed that my chemistry course does satisfy their requirement, so I don't have to make up that 1-credit difference after all! The email I received today also talks about orientation, getting the NYU ID card, class registration, etc, so don't worry you will get all of these soon!!
  2. Hello everyone! I was accepted to the non-accelerated (second-degree transfer) program for fall 2025 back on 4/21/25. I'm hoping to connect with other non-accelerated students ? I just got my transfer credit evaluation and I have to take 2 classes (6 credits missing). Is anyone else confused about the chemistry req? NYU's chem is 5 credits, I took chemistry but it was 4 credits. On the statement, it says that the 1 credit difference must be fullfilled, so wouldn't that mean I have to take 7 credits?
  3. Just a thought but I think decisions will be sent on either Mondays and/or Tuesdays because the first group of accepted applicants (who got their decisions on Monday 4/21 or Tuesday 4/22) must respond to the offer by Monday 4/28 or Tuesday 4/29. Then, based on how many applicants accepted or declined, NYU will send the next wave of decisions next Monday 4/29 or Tuesday 4/30, then that cycle repeats until all spots are filled. That's my theory since it doesn't sound like anyone heard back today
  4. I can say that yes, non-accelerated follow the same timeline, because I was accepted just now too! I applied sometime in 11/2024 so before the priority deadline. Congratulations to everyone, yay!!
