  1. I am still waiting on UofT (MN-NP) and applied mid-Jan. For UofT there will likely be a second round of offers soon.
  2. When I attended the U of T information session for the MNNP and the PMNP they said that official transcripts would only be needed once you are accepted. I think the info session should be saved on their website still.
  3. Still waiting ?
  4. Yay! Congrats!! ?
  5. Just to clarify, do you mean you haven't been invited to create an ACORN account or that it doesn't state "invited" on your ACORN account? I applied Jan 12th and still "submitted" on the application portal and no "invited" on ACORN. I was placed on the waitlist last year for the MN-NP Program after applying Jan 16th 2025 for Fall 2025. I waited until June ? I watched on the forum for 4.5 months as people periodically got accepted or rejected, trying to figure out a pattern but I never could. Not sure if that helps or makes it worse (hopefully not) but just saying it's early days and definitely no news doesn't mean bad news. I do know from experience how hard the waiting game is though. Hang in there ?
  6. Yay! Congrats ? ?
  7. I think it's very possible that additional offers will go out this week with this first round but that's just a guess based on previous experience.
  8. I see. Nothing yet on my ACORN profile either. Sounds like a very positive sign to me. Congrats! May I ask when you submitted your application?
  9. Nothing yet. Not sure if it will be the same as last year but they started sending letters of acceptance out March 10th for fall 2025. The ACORN invite was sent to me even earlier then that just to get my student account set up but of course that did not mean I was accepted (that's why I'm still here ?).
  10. I only know that for U of T decisions typically start rolling out in March and most people should hear from them by end of May. That being said I waited until June last year due to the high numbers of applicants ? The waiting game is the worst.
  11. Yes, if you submitted on Jan 15th you made the early deadline ?
  12. Welcome! That's some great experience that you have! Wishing you luck! I totally get your concerns with the time and cost commitment of doing another Masters program. That's a tough decision. Sorry to hear that the York app process has been disorganized. I put in my application for the U of T MN-NP Program (my 1st choice) on Monday. There is a possibility that I can secure an academic reference and apply to York U for the Feb deadline but I'm undecided. I know that I should probably apply to as many programs as possible like most people do but U of T is such a better fit for me and the idea of scrambling to complete the York app now seems so daunting ?
  13. UofT app submitted. Looks like it will be all of my eggs in one basket again because of the academic reference barrier that I have with the other programs. It's my favourite basket though ? Hopefully second time is a charm ? Good luck to everyone!
  14. Yay! You must be relieved to have the apps done Liam. Wishing you luck as well! I'm hoping to submit soon. Just waiting for my refs ?
  15. Welcome! You have some great experience and are a strong candidate.Wishing you the best of luck! I wish I could apply to McMaster as well but they ask for 2 academic references and aren't flexible with accepting non-traditional references. It's been a real barrier for me since I graduated more than 15yrs ago.
  16. Thanks Liam. We were told that there was a very high applicant pool last year which made the program particularly competitive. It was also a very long wait to hear back about being placed on the wait list. I applied Jan 16th and didn't hear back until late May. My goal is to get my U of T application in early this year (before the early deadline) and hope for the best ?
  17. Welcome! That is great experience so far and a high GPA! I'm sure that makes you a strong candidate. ? U of T is my top choice as well. Such a great program and the hybrid/virtual format would really work well for me.
  18. Hey there! I remember you from last year's thread. I am applying to U of T and TMU. Looks like McMaster is out for me as they require two formal academic references. I was also on the waitlist for U of T last year and I'm hopeful that this is the year us as well! I have over 15 years experience in primary care, diabetes and geriatric settings. I think my more specialized experience in diabetes for over 10 years may be what made me less competitive compared to other applicants from last year with more diverse experience. Took an additional course this year outside of diabetes management and have new references. ?
  19. Hi all, I'm creating this thread for RN's who are applying for NP programs across Ontario for Fall 2026 as a way for us to connect and support one another. I am reapplying for U of T's MN-NP along with TMU's combined Masters + NP Program (first time applying) and possibly McMaster U (depends on whether I can secure 2 academic references). I was waitlisted for U of T's program for Fall 2025. One of my biggest challenges with these applications has been academic references since I graduated with my BScN in 2006. Looking to connect with others.
  20. Sadly I have not heard anything either and I applied Jan 16th. They had told me to expect a decision by end of May when I emailed a month ago. My understanding is that the hard deadline is end of June (today) but maybe that's changed now? Was thinking of sending another email. I'm expecting a rejection at this point but I just would like to know for sure so that I can move on.
  21. Thank you! That gives me a little hope since I applied 2 days after you. GPA 3.9, 15yrs outpatient + primary care and leadership experience. ?
  22. Congratulations! Can I ask if you mean the MN-NP Program and when you applied?
  23. I know how you feel ?
