No, from a past student you can check offer up or Facebook marketplace. For the access code you buy it through the link on canvas after using a 1 month free trial but don't get the trial until you start school to not waste the days.

You can do a free trial for one month and you'll have access to the book & mastering, and once it's up you can choose to pay the full amount ( I think $600 from bookstore) I chose to buy physical copies of the books ($200) and just pay the access code for like 60$.

You should absolutely get it you will need it to practice your skills and do your check offs. It does not come with a stethoscope

Where did everyone get their COVID vaccines at other than pharmacy's? My insurance doesn't cover pharmacy and it's like $150 I can't find a medical provider that offers it. or if you know of anywhere thats it's less than $150?

Someone who's currently enrolled said he has lecture Monday Thursday and Friday, and clinical on Tuesday. I think clinical from 7-3 and the lecture days are longer. but I think it's different every semester so we will see

The tb is 4 visits I believe, and you have to wait like 48 hrs before each visit. You could also do bloodwork which is what I'm doing since I'm a known positive (asymptomatic), and will also need xrays to show I'm all good. urine test is quick and background check should be as well. I haven't started the process yet because I haven't decided where to commit to yet between programs but I'm 90% sure I'll attend COS

Yes, I did and I called last week. They said they won't be notifying for another 2-3 weeks (as of last week), so it'll probably be another 1-2 weeks.

At COS? When did you apply for FAFSA? I barely applied today, I never have before so I'm not sure how it all works/when to expect to be notified if I qualify for anything. is that grant that you're talking about for those who quit their job to become full time students?

I'm in a similar situation as you, deciding which school to go to. From what I've gathered, COS seems to have a more solid program and current/past students have said professors go above and beyond to help them while I've seen some say Fresno city can be more on your own. I've also seen some say you attended classes less at COS, so there's room for a part time if needed & that at fcc it's M-F long days. Cost wise, they're roughly around the same. since you said you'd be quitting your job, wouldn't you qualify for medi-cal then since you won't have income?

I also got into both, what made you chose Cos? I haven't decided yet and I'm having a hard time with it

I'm in the same boat as you! It's so hard to decide where to go. I think COS has a better program and passing rate, but FCC is slightly closer to me, so IDK.

I think the latest they send is 3 pm so for sure not today, I agree with that sentiment tho. I'm not as excited anymore since I'm kind of annoyed. But I understand it's a lot of work for them too.
