  1. I feel you have to ask yourself a few more questions to help answer this. First- what is the commitment you have to make to get the education free? Is it a commitment to stay with your current employer for X number of years to 'pay back' their investment? Secondly, do you want to continue learning? Do you like to learn and therefore won't hate every minute of getting your BSN? Then I think you need to ask yourself whether you can realistically retire at 62. Do you have enough savings/income and way to get medical insurance coverage until you can sign up for Medicare at 65? I love the idea of getting more education and planning for part-time work in retirement. I don't think the lack of med sure experience is a negative but I think you have to be realistic about options and for part time work after getting your BSN. Do you have people in your network that can help find/make those opportunities happen easier?
