  1. I had about 4 years of adult ICU experience, and switched to pediatric ICU for the last year to broaden my practice! I also upped my shadowing hours, took grad level advanced patho and got an A, and when I switched to PICU I got very involved with QI projects :)
  2. @ScrunchyMama @TulipRN I was waitlisted last year, reapplied, interviewed and was accepted this cycle! don't give up!!
  3. I went ahead and made a FB group for those of us accepting admission so we have a place to get to know each other and share updates as we receive them ? https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1KeZAwayzv/?mibextid=wwXIfr
  4. I interviewed last year and was placed on the waitlist. this year has transpired in a similar fashion. last year, a friend of mine received a phone call the Friday interviews ended and was offered a spot. I received notification that I was waitlisted in the middle of their Spring break (on the Tuesday/Wednesday). I was told I would be contacted if a spot opened up for me. unfortunately, it didn't. July came around and I still hadn't heard anything, and I reapplied. those that were offered admission last year did not receive any additional communication for a couple weeks to come. when I received my call this past Friday, they told me snail mail and email would be sent out but none of that information was going to be given to the office people until their return from Spring break. hope this helps ?
