  1. Yeah from what I heard one of the faculty said. No longer will be 9 months effective next year I believe
  2. Not suprised because they are changing the length of time and stuff for the program as well
  3. And that's why I made these post! I know how it was when I was I the program. I was thinking of doing a TikTok but I don't use social media as much.
  4. We did but it was kind of on first come first serve, it was via a live spreadsheet (may change) Yes it's in Oklahoma.
  5. Go to my other thread regarding this, it's more active and other people with questions! I tagged you in it
  6. @Jaxonsbikermom this thread is more active but regarding your question: "OMG I have been wanting to try this program but have not found one TikTok or YouTuber talking about it LOL! My only issue with admissions is the fact that I need a level 3000-4000 World Culture class and can not find one ANYWHERE but at OU ($3,000). Any advice?" 3k? is that instate or out of state tuition. Basically a level 3000/4000 you'll (typically) find at universities. If youre out of state then you can find one at your states school. There is a transfer tool to see what it is they accept that'll transfer over. Hope that helps! Sorry fir the late response!
  7. I decided to go part time but eventually worked FT again by getting a PRN job 12h overnight. It's definitely possible. Clinicals for the first semester were mainly 8h on days during the week and second semester was 12 h shift and varied with weekends and week days.
  8. I really wanted ICU but atp I'll do any position LOL
  9. Right?! and I noticed that after I applied couple weeks later, they reposted the position?!?
  10. Ugh I reached out to a recruiter like 2 days ago and she said that they weren't any new grad opportunities. It's like they talk about a shortage but make it so hard to get in these programs.
  11. Do you know how long the process was for them? Which location?
  12. Hey! Anyone have any updates? I applied I think end of April and just got an assessment sent to me like 2 days ago. Any one has any updates? I saw online it was 3.5
  13. @Adanna Euodia Ugo-Ihanetu hey! So that depends on how many prerequisites you already taken. And it also depends on how many classes you decide to take a semester and what classes you took at your institution that will transfer to OU. One class usually is done in a semester, they have a transfer tool to show what classes go over to OU and you also can send you your transcripts if you have any classes from your home institution. If you've never taken college classes, probably take about a year or two maybe. Materials depend on the subject that you're taking. YouTube videos are helpful OMG!! Congrats!! That's major! I just graduated last week!!
  14. So I did Full time which is only 2 semesters.. no Summer. Correct not all the classes, typically BSN, the bachelors part are essays, discussion posts and projects. For us we started in September (community focused) and then for Spring semester (January) but it kind of depends.. they try to make it feasible separate ppl out of state vs in state. They may change the process for c/o '26. Loving the questions! I love helping other nurses!
  15. It was challenging, I would say study practice questions on quizlet! Yes it is doable, do quizlet and YouTube videos! I believe you get 2 tries still for the HESI. I failed patho the first time, and questions were similar like before. Per the admission requirements "Active and Unemcumbered LPN Oklahoma or Compact License " I do think you need working hours, at least when I applied but I don't see it on the website.. so def double check!
  16. @Tee Smith It depends, for first semester two out of like 4 classes it was like 1 exam (per 2 of the classes) every like 1.5 weeks or so and the other class was like quizzes each week. Next semester is mainly quizzes and group projects, discussions..
  17. Overall I'd say that is doable. I don't like OU as a whole but once you get into the actual program it's challenging but definitely doable. Be good about understanding assignments and giving yourself time to do them. Be good about staying on top of them when submitting required documents etc. I still got till end of April but almost at the finish line! Anything specific you're wanting to know?
  18. @Shauntil07 Hey! Sorry for the late response, definitely study the quizlets flashcards on these topics, very useful! I believe you get two chances! Have you applied yet? I think today is the deadline?
  19. OUHSC LPN to BSN 2025 hey guys, I noticed that there's not much new info on learning about university of Oklahoma health sciences online LPN to BSN program, so since I'm currently in it graduating this Spring if anyone has any questions about the program, want me to give them my opinion feedback etc. comment below! I know that when I was looking up the program, especially being out of state. It was hard for me to find anything recent. I love helping other nursing students so maybe I'll get a lot of questions. Maybe I won't. I also have textbooks and some of them are unused.
