I applied around 2:30am when it opened. & right I know thats how it was last time. I applied and had a email to set up a phone screening the next day.

Not yet, last time I got one the next morning hopefully my format didn't trigger a negative ATS response but we shall see.

Thats OK with me tbh, I really want to work oncology. I have a job lined up with oncology for adults but I would love to do pediatrics and be closer to home. Both of my choices last time were ICU because they didn't have onc on there so figured I would give it another shot.

If I get an interview I'll ask LOL and tell them PICU is my second instead ? LOL

It was in the drop down menu when I applied but I really want blood and cancer and if anything I'm open to other units if they offer like PICU

Last cohort it was for CICUand PICU. This time I did cancer and blood disorders and CICU

I applied last cohort and made it to an interview but didn't get in. I just applied so hopefully I make it this time. I moved out here from so cal as well.

I got an offer as well from olympia.

See congrats! She also called to let me know that she sent the email and asked me if I had any questions. What unit? Mine is for PICU Yeah its crazy that they don't send something out at least a followup email maybe stating they are still going through candidates. The last residency I applied to never called me back but still says under consideration and its going on about 3 weeks now so IDK.

Update, I ended up receiving an email about 15 minutes ago for a virtual interview.

My recruiters name was [MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME] she was nice.

Its is quite discouraging, this is my second interview for a residency out of the 100+ I applied for. Just remaining hopeful and optimistic. If not I'll try again next cycle.

Mine was today, I'm guessing they say it to everyone but hopefully we hear something quick than that time frame. Yeah mine was about 25-30 mins, but def quick. She told me they prioritize people with ICU and peds experience for the PICU so hopefully I have a chance.
