  1. I am almost at the end of my second semester at Capital for nursing. I know you will be going to Norwalk, but for us options are lecture Monday or Wednesday all day. If you are Monday cohort you get clinicals Tuesday or Wednesday when is on campus( sim lab), or you get to request the weekends which are not guaranteed. If you are on the Wednesday cohort then Thursday and Fridays are clinicals on campus (sim labs) or weekends once again not guaranteed. Clinicals in the hospital setting can be morning or afternoons. Hope that gives you an idea. Good luck!
  2. Yes, but I uploaded everything is it shows as complete. Just have 2 requirements that were rejected. I think it says past due because the dates are from 2024, and they probably never updated it.
  3. we have a Facebook page for Capital admitted to the 2025 nursing program! Please join? https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1QvuJDxPs2/?mibextid=wwXIfr

  7. It seems labs become clinicals. I had to let my manager know today I will leave in August! Because there is no way I can work my job with this schedule.
  8. You can take it while in nursing, but it recommended you take before. I was going to take it fall 2025, but now I will take it for Summer 2025.
  9. I emailed the nursing director and this is what she said.... Congratulations on your acceptance to the nursing program! The nursing 1120 class is held on Mondays OR Wednesdays depending on the one you register for. For Mondays-class is 9:30-3:30 with a Tuesdays & Wednesdays nursing lab from 8:00-4:00 pm (nursing lab is for the first six weeks of the semester, then students are assigned to the hospital facility) For Wednesdays-class 9:30-3:30 with a Thursday & Friday nursing lab from 8:00-4:00 pm. (nursing lab is for the first six weeks of the semester, then students are assigned to the hospital facility). After the first six weeks, students are assigned to a clinical facility for the remainder of the semester. If you register for a Monday class, you could be assigned Tuesday & Wednesday day shift from 6:30 am-3:00 pm OR Tuesday & Wednesday evening shift from 1:30-2:00 until 9:30-10:00 pm. OR Saturday and Sunday day shift 6:30-3:00 pm. The clinical coordinator determines students' clinical placement based on a survey results (sent to students at the beginning of the fall semester) and what the facilities approve. You can enter in the survey that you are unable to be assigned to a weekend clinical (the majority of students are assigned clinical on weekdays). Clinical placements vary from semester to semester and are not guaranteed to meet the needs of childcare and/or employment.
  10. I heard they have 3 medication conversions tests the first few weeks and if you fail after 3 attempts they drop you. You still have a chance! I am sure you will get in start getting ready!
  11. It shows as action required, then when you click you have the offer. Yay me too! Congrats!
