Hello! I officially received my offer letter today. Congrats to everyone that got in and Goodluck to everyone waiting. I was told by the end of next week, all decisions will be made. Don't loose hope! After 4 years of trying I finally got in, still can't believe it. For those that got in, has anyone made a FB group so we can start connecting? Does anyone know if there are any transfer credits given to people who hold BCIT speciality certificates and an MSN degree ?

Did they say if recommended by department mean you're in? Or possible waitlist ?

I hope so ! It seems everyone's is changing so I am eagerly checking but no luck, still says "recommended by department".

Does anyone know if they give credits that you can use from your MSN? Some credits for courses that were already taken? I believe the classes are synchronous but online.

Anyone got any updates for UVIC? Changes on the portal ? I remember last year they changed the portal status before they emailed.

Hello ! I am applying to UVic this year and was wondering if anyone can help me on the five essential principles of Primary Health Care as set out in the World Health Organization's Declaration of Alma-Ata. I read the declaration but still unsure about the 5 principles. Can anyone help ?

I was also not accepted. Rejected twice. Starting to lose hope. Can anyone provide types on what could help? What did you outline in your LOI.

Hey can you provide more information about applying post MN? I'll be finished my MN next year this time. I'm thinking of applying into the post program but wondering how it works. Did you apply to it once you were done MN or while currently in it so once the post program starts you will be done MN? also has anyone received refusal emails? mine still says "under review by department"

Is there a post MN for UBC too? Were you waitlisted on your post MN for UVic as well?

I don't understand this whole process. I was waitlisted on UBC last year and rejected this year even though I am in my MSN at UBC. When I applied to UVIC 3 years ag,o I was told my undergrad GPA was an issue- I have improved that significantly with my MSN and got more experience, yet no change. Also, no info is provided on how to improve whereas nurses 2 years out of nursing school are getting in...what are we doing wrong

I think it's good news for the people whose status is "under review" as it may mean you're waitlisted. Mine hasn't changed - still says under review by department :(
