  1. I have been an LVN/LPN for over 20 years and will be graduating with an ADN in a few months. As soon as my transcript is posted, I am starting a flex-path ASN-BSN program. I am 50 years old and making some significant life changes, so looking for a fresh start in a new city. My questions are: 1. Would I be able to work for the bigger hospitals with an ADN, or should I wait until I have finished my BSN before moving and trying to work in Los Angeles? 2. In that area, would my LVN/LPN experience be considered when establishing my RN pay in Los Angeles, or would I have to start at new grad rates? 3. Should I have to start out at new grad pay, could I realistically even afford to live in Los Angeles if I have a car payment and student loan payments? Thanks.
