  1. The exams do help prepare you for the NCLEX, but not completely. In my opinion, no accelerated nursing program can fully prepare you 100% for the NCLEX. There are always gaps that students need to fill independently through self‑study and additional resources to strengthen their understanding. My cohort size is big, our classes and labs are scheduled at different times. For lecture you can expect to see about 25–30 students per group, labs typically have about 12–18 students, and clinical rotations usually consist of 6–8 students. Thank you.
  2. Hello Marieeileen, Congratulations on your acceptance. The program is going well so far, I'll be starting my third semester in about two weeks. One thing I can say is that this program really requires full commitment. You'll need strong time management, organization, and a lot of self-discipline, especially with self-studying. Using tools like AI (ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.) has been really helpful for creating practice questions, building study guides, and breaking down complex topics. You'll also be surrounded by a very diverse group of classmates—some have families and kids, while others are working full-time, part-time, or PRN. Everyone's situation is different, but if you stay focused and determined, it's definitely doable. The administration isn't perfect, but at the end of the day, the program is 18 months, and the goal makes it worth it. I hope that answers your question, wishing you all the best!
  3. If you have time, I will suggest you walk-in dobbs ferry or bronx and speak to someone. I noticed calling and leaving a message no one will call back, they hardly respond to email as well.
  4. Hello, I'm interested in joining the whatsapp group. Please share the link to join. I'm in the weekday program. Thank you
  5. Hello, not yet but keep an eye on the blackboard and school email. I remembered on the zoom meeting, they stated late July till early August, clinical placement info will be posted.
  6. I plan to walk in too, if the lady (M) doesn't respond to my email by the end of this week. It's July by now we should already know what we are getting.
  7. I got an override for the booster, send an email to [MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME](Nursing Program Compliance Coord). she will edit your castle branch requirement so you don't need to take it.
  8. If you have old titers you can use them, I used some of the ones I did in 2017 from my job and they accepted them.
  9. Yes I started mine, I will be using Mercy health office to do my physical and two blood titers I'm missing. For the drug screening, you can make the appointment online on the quest website.
  10. Hello everyone, The link provided to scheduled an appointment wasn't working for me either, I sent an email to sfs office, they sent me a new link ? and I was able to schedule an appointment for Friday. https://apply.mercy.edu/portal/financial-aid-sessions
  11. Nothing yet, I know they have extended the admission deadline for Fall semester till May 30th. I'm assuming they are waiting to admit everyone for the semester, then proceed to next step.
  12. Yes, week days program is also 18 months. The classes for the week days and weekend are the same, only difference is that weekend program and classes are held on (Fri, Sat and Sun). I registered early, this help me to have an idea of what my schedule will be like in advance.
