  1. Hi! My name is Samantha Williams, and I am a senior nursing student at Endicott College conducting my capstone project on telehealth best practices for nurses caring for patients with anxiety disorders. I am looking for nurses who provide telehealth services to participate in a quick educational module and survey to help assess and improve confidence, knowledge, and communication skills in virtual care. What It Involves: • A short pre-survey (about 3-5 minutes) • A self-paced online educational module • A quick post-survey (about 3-5 minutes) Participation is completely voluntary and confidential, and your feedback will help improve telehealth education and patient care. Click here to participate: https://forms.gle/jKnXdccpPSRgUgTX9 I truly appreciate your time and insights! Feel free to reach out with any questions. Thank you so much for your support! 2. Thank you! I totally agree—nursing school is all about finding that balance. I love your idea of building your study schedule around clinical days—being proactive really helps avoid the overwhelm. For me, I have found that doing light review the night before clinical and saving heavier study sessions for my days off works best. I also try to break things into smaller chunks throughout the week so I am not stuck cramming everything at once. And honestly, giving myself grace and rest when I need it has helped a lot, too! I would be happy to connect and share more—always love chatting with other nursing students who are in it too!
  3. Wow—thank you so much for sharing your journey! I truly appreciate the time you took to write that all out. It is so inspiring to see how your career evolved in so many unexpected and exciting ways. I really love what you said about keeping your peripheral vision open and not being afraid of side trips. It is comforting to know that even if I do not figure everything out right away, there is room to explore and grow into different roles over time. Your story definitely gave me a fresh perspective—nursing really can take you anywhere! Thank you again for the encouragement and insight!
  4. Thank you so much for your kind words and encouragement! It is really inspiring to hear from someone who truly loves being a CRNA. I know the journey is intense, but hearing that it is worth it means a lot. I will definitely check out the links you shared—those resources sound super helpful, especially for someone like me who is still exploring the path. I really appreciate you taking the time to share them. Thanks again for the support and insight!
  5. That is amazing! It is really encouraging to hear how your path unfolded in a way you did not expect but led you to something you were passionate about. Dementia care is such an important and meaningful field, and I can imagine how rewarding it must have been to make a difference for those patients and their families. Now that you are in community health nursing, do you find any similarities between the two roles? Or was the transition a big adjustment?
  6. That is a great point about mandated scrubs! For nursing school, I had to order specific scrubs, so I did not get much choice there. But for my CA job, I had the freedom to explore different brands, which was nice. Hopefully, wherever I end up working after graduation will allow some flexibility! And I really appreciate the shoe advice! I had not thought about rotating pairs to help them last longer, but that makes so much sense. I have heard great things about Brooks Ghost shoes, so I will have to check them out. Did you notice a big difference in comfort when switching from Danskos to Brooks?
  7. Hi! I am actually still in nursing school right now, but I have been thinking about pursuing my MSN in the future. That is why I wanted to hear from those who have gone through an online program—how was your experience? Did you feel like it prepared you well?
  8. That is really interesting! It is great to hear how your interest in cardiac patients led you to the coronary ICU. I like the idea of keeping a per diem ED role to stay sharp—that seems like a great balance. Thanks for sharing your experience, it definitely gives me a lot to think about as I figure out my own path! That is truly amazing! Your dedication and the impact you have had over the years are so inspiring. It is great to hear how nursing allows for so much flexibility and growth. Thank you for sharing your experience!
  9. That is awesome! I definitely see the appeal of critical care—every day is different, and you are constantly thinking on your feet. I am currently doing my ICU internship and really enjoy the fast-paced environment. What made you choose ER and ICU over other critical care areas?
  10. I love that about nursing! It is so reassuring to hear that there is room to explore and change paths along the way. Your journey is amazing—so much variety before finding your passion in school nursing! It must be so rewarding to build relationships with students and be such a key part of their well-being. What do you love most about school nursing?
  11. Thank you so much! That is a great idea—I might just add a pair of FIGS to my graduation wishlist to see if I like them. I have not heard of Dolan before, but I will definitely check them out, especially since you can try them first! I appreciate the ON shoe recommendation! I have been looking for something with good support. Do you find them comfortable for long shifts right away, or did you have to break them in?
  12. Hi everyone! During nursing school, I worked as a Clinical Associate (CA) on a cardiac telemetry floor, and it was one of the best decisions I made. It helped me build my fundamental skills, gain confidence in patient care, and get comfortable in the hospital setting—all while reinforcing what I was learning in class. For those who are currently working as a CNA, MA, or CA while in school, how has your experience been? And for anyone considering it, I would be happy to share advice on balancing work and nursing school. Let's chat!
  13. Hi everyone! I am a second-semester senior nursing student, and after making it through seven semesters, I know just how challenging (but rewarding!) nursing school can be. From exams and clinicals to time management and NCLEX prep, it is a tough journey—but it's definitely doable with the right support! Since I have been through a lot of it already, I would love to help others who are earlier in their nursing school journey. If you have questions about study strategies, clinical experiences, or balancing everything, I am happy to share what has worked for me. At the same time, I know I am still learning, and I would love to hear from others, too—what are your best tips for making it through nursing school successfully? Let's share advice and support each other!
  14. Hi everyone! I am a second-semester nursing student, and as much as I love this journey, I know firsthand how stressful it can be. Between studying, clinicals, and trying to have some kind of work-life balance, it's easy to feel overwhelmed. I have been trying to find ways to manage stress, like going for walks, spending time with friends, and taking breaks when I can. But I know stress will only increase once I start working as a nurse. What has helped you stay physically, mentally, and emotionally healthy in such a demanding profession?
  15. Hi! I am a second-semester nursing student in Massachusetts, and while I plan to start my career here, I have been curious about nursing opportunities in other states—or even internationally. I know some places have different scopes of practice, benefits, and opportunities for advancement, and I would love to hear from nurses who have worked in different regions. For those who have moved for nursing, how was the transition? Are there states or countries that offer better opportunities for career growth or work-life balance? I would love to hear your experiences and any advice you have!
  16. Hi everyone! I am a second-semester nursing student, and while I am focused on finishing school and passing the NCLEX, I am also thinking about the future of my nursing career. I have considered working for a few years before going back for my master's, but there are so many different paths to take, and I am not sure what is the best route. For those who have advanced in their careers, what helped you the most? Did you go straight into a specialty, pursue additional certifications, or continue your education? Any advice on making the most of my early years in nursing and setting myself up for success? I would love to hear your experiences!
  17. Hi everyone! I currently live in Massachusetts and plan to take the NCLEX here, but I have heard great things about hospitals in Connecticut and have been considering working there in the future. For those who have made the move or work in CT, how was the process of getting licensed there? Is it difficult to transfer a Massachusetts nursing license? Also, do people generally like working in Connecticut hospitals? I would love to hear any insights or experiences you have!
  18. Hey everyone! As a second-semester nursing student, I have really come to appreciate just how much nurses do. From juggling patient care to handling emergencies and being a constant source of support, they truly do it all—sometimes all at once! During my clinicals and internship, I have seen firsthand how hard nurses work, and it's only made me more excited (and honestly a little nervous) to join the profession. I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to all the amazing nurses out there. You are the heart of healthcare, and you do not get nearly enough recognition! For those already working, what has been one of your most rewarding moments as a nurse? And for fellow students, what has inspired you the most on this journey?
  19. Hi everyone! I an a second-semester nursing student, and as I get closer to graduation, I have been thinking a lot about what specialty I want to go into. The problem is—I like so many different areas, and it is hard to know what the right fit will be after graduation. For those who have chosen their specialty, how did you decide? Did you always know, or did you explore different options first? Any advice on figuring out the best path? I would love to hear your experiences!
  20. Hi everyone! I am a second-semester nursing student, and while I plan to work for a few years after getting my BSN, I have been considering going back for my master's degree down the road. I have noticed that a lot of MSN programs are online, and I am wondering what the experience is like. For those who have completed or are currently in an online nursing program, how did you find the transition? Did you feel like you got the same quality of education and networking opportunities as an in-person program? Any advice on choosing the right online program? I would love to hear your thoughts!
  21. Hi everyone! I am a second-semester nursing student, and I have always heard how much people love being a CRNA. It seems like an incredible career, but I also know it requires a lot of hard work, time, and dedication to get there. For those who have gone through (or are currently in) CRNA school, do you think it's worth it? What are the biggest challenges, and what makes it rewarding? I would love to hear your experiences and any advice you have!
  22. Hi! I know all of us nursing students have spent hours upon hours studying for an exam, barely getting any sleep because of the stress. We walk in feeling nervous but somewhat confident that we know the material... and then the first question reads something like, "What color was Florence Nightingale's favorite dress?" At that point, all we can do is laugh. The nursing school struggle is real!! Who else has had something similar happen to them? Share your funniest or most frustrating exam moments!
  23. Hi! I hope everyone is doing well. I am a second-semester senior nursing student, and I truly believe that maintaining a solid work-life balance is one of the best practices for a successful nursing education. While studying, completing assignments on time, and attending class are crucial, it is just as important to make time for activities that bring you joy. For me, that means hanging out with my roommates, going for walks on nice days, relaxing at the beach, or simply grabbing a coffee. I just wanted to pop in and remind everyone to take care of themselves too—balance is key!
  24. Hi everyone! I worked as a clinical associate (CA) at Beverly Hospital in Beverly, Massachusetts, on a cardiac telemetry floor for about a year. As a nursing student at Endicott College, I saw this as a great opportunity to strengthen my fundamental skills. I really enjoyed my experience and would love to answer any questions about Beverly Hospital. Please feel free to ask!
  25. Hi! I am currently a senior nursing student and have been considering pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a concentration in Nursing Education. I do not think I will be ready to go back to school immediately after earning my BSN, but I have always loved the idea of becoming a clinical instructor down the road. If anyone has been through the process or has any tips, I would love to hear your advice!
