  1. Harris Methodist Hospital in Fortworth for the intermediate cardiac PCU
  2. After no updates or notifications since I applied in late May, I finally got an email saying the position I applied for is filled ?
  3. I graduated from nursing school and took NCLEX late Jan. I have no medical experience other than clinical rotations. I want to specialize in wound care eventually, but I need experience. Where should I start? Hospital med surg unit? Rehab center/hospital? Residency Program? Nursing home? I'm struggling to find a job. Every med surg position I've seen require 1 year or more of experience. The earliest start for residency programs I've looked at are in the Summer and I don't want to wait that long. Working in a rehab center/hospital seems like my best bet, but im intimidtated by the environment. My parents, both nurses, have worked in nursing homes and had nothing but bad things to say about them. Should I do something different? I'd appreciate some advice, especially if you currently work in wound care.
