  1. Yeah the position wasn't meant to be posted yet. I got an email stating that the app opens on Monday at 9 and that the previous submission wouldn't count.
  2. I haven't yet ? hopefully we hear back soon!!
  3. Not yet, the recruiter did tell me that final offers will be made by 1/23 so hopefully they go out by tomorrow
  4. Does anyone know if only certain units from Torrance sent out offers yesterday or did they all go out?
  5. this sucks ugh but honestly I believe it cause I remember the first question a manager asked me was if I ranked their unit first
  6. yes same here! I was asking q's to one manager and they seemed dismissive of me so I felt kinda defeated after yesterday ?
  7. hi! I actually work with ro health right now also in the la area and honestly it is really good so far!! I think I may have just gotten lucky with my assignment but its usually one-on-one assignments and the district school nurse will go over orders with you and serves as a resource if you have any questions. even when I sub outside of this assignment, the district school nurses are helpful! dm if you have any questions!
  8. Thank you!! And I'm sorry about your rejection ? hang in there and ik something will come your way!! I honestly am not sure how I got the interview haha. I have my BSN and I'm external, have CNA experience, did my preceptorship in the nicu, got my nrp cert, LORs I did go to their info session and talked to the recruiter before the app went out so maybe that helped (?) overall I think it's just super hard for new grads RN. I graduated last Spring so it's been awhile too for me ?
  9. ahh I just received an interview with the NICU! good luck to everyone who also gets a call!!
  10. It'll say "New Grad" in the title of the job posting
  11. It was 1 case study and they give a lot info to work off of LCOM Torrance
  12. I think definitely have an answer ready for why you applied there, experiences with difficult patient situations, and cultural competency. Also, to ease some anxiety, they do give you a lil bit of time and pen/paper to work on the case study. overall, be confident, have some experiences on hand and remember pt safety.
  13. Thank you for this!! I also missed the open forum so I appreciate you relaying this information
  14. I went to their info session and they sent the presentation which had this link on the last slide! the other ones didn't show openings for me either
  15. this was the link that worked for me! hopefully it helps some of you guys! https://evac.fa.us2.oraclecloud.com/hcmUI/CandidateExperience/en/sites/CX_1/
  16. hi! for those who applied, how many LORs are needed? I didn't attend the info session and want to make sure I'm not missing anything ?
  17. Thank you for this!! This was super helpful!! Good luck to you too ?
  18. Congrats to you too! I got only one email but the subject/email mentioned both positions unless I read it wrong LOL ?
