  1. Who can do g-tube feeds in Virginia?

    Hello, I'm the only RN working at my business. It is a day facility for adults with IDD. In Maryland, we (RNs) were allowed to train non-nurses to use the g-tube for water, feedings, and meds. I'm unable to locate any confirmation of the legalities of this in the state of Virginia. If anyone can please provide me with a link that spells out the details, I'd appreciate it! I need something that I can show to my non-nurse boss as proof, one way or the other. Thank you!
