  1. Congrats to those of you who got accepted! I was waitlisted but I'm in fact a bit surprised and happy b/c I don't think I did well on the interview at all. The interview had a friendly and casual vibe but I'm more so an introverted and shy person who doesn't like to talk about myself in front of a group. Anyways. Can anyone who got accepted share if a deadline was given to submit their seat deposit?
  2. Hi! First and foremost, congrats on getting accepted to this amazing program! I also applied for MSN FNP however was rejected w/o making it to the waitlist. I'm hopeful to reapply for next year and am now looking into areas where I could improve. Could you share some of your academic information? Mainly, what was your GPA like and did you have any extracurricular activities like research? Much appreciated for any insight you could share!
  3. Hi! I also got an interview notification for 4/7 but have to postpone due to personal reasons. When is your interview? Maybe we'll see each other. As for interview questions, I can expect them to ask generic questions such as self introduction, why FNP etc
  4. Got decision today as well and was rejected. Sharing my stats as following for reference in case anyone runs into this thread in the future who might find it helpful in any shape or form: 3yr RN experiences, 1.5 med-surg, 1.5 ICU, charge nurse, specialty certification 3 LOR 3.6 undergraduate GPA 3.39 ABSN GPA(which I believe pulled me below the cut)
  5. I'm by no means an expert on how the timing change works for NYU FNP program, but if anything, I'd think they would accommodate individual situations. Plus switching from FT to PT should not be difficult to accommodate as it puts less stress on the school to find students clinical sites per semester.
  6. Thank you Leafy! That's a good news to know; at least things will be set in stone either way by next week. Sending good vibes and luck!
  7. Starting this thread so people who applied to Lehman College for the Fall 2025 cycle can share updates and help each other out. I applied on 2/11; attended info session and was told that decision will be released 6-8wks after application closure. A bit unsure of how it'll go b/c I know people would want to apply to Lehman for its affordable tuition rate. If anyone know the acceptance rate for the program in past admissions year please feel free to share. Look forward to discuss with others who are undergoing the same situations!
  8. It should generate an email, although I've seen people writing they went on to the portal and found out instead.
  9. Still checking and waiting anxiously everyday.. According to the website of a decision notification 4-6wks after deadline, we should start hearing back already since 3/1/25. If anyone has heard back please don't hesitate to share and put our soul at ease!
  10. Thanks for starting the thread for sure! Applied back in Sep last year and have been searching for info about the program with not much success surprisingly. I hope we all hear back soon with the results we want! Fingers crossed for all of us.
