We need to remember that we take oaths too. Like law enforcement, the language in our oaths reflect our commitment to uphold the rights of those who are vulnerable, whether in hand cuffs or a gown. Whether a criminal or a cripple, both are human and deserving of justice and mercy.
We must also remember our place here and remind law enforcement of theirs. No one should be using force with a CLEARLY unwilling individual to obtain their blood under ANY circumstances to include court order or warrant, or their new favorite, 'implied consent'.
A blood draw is invasive and requires penetration of both organ and tissue to obtain. To forcibly make the unwilling to submit is an act of rape and rape is a CRIME!
I will not and never will be a means to obtain blood for law enforcement, this includes warrants, court orders and implied consent. Our silence and our participation has produced this:
